The successful applicant will be expected to contribute to, propose, and lead cyber security research projects. - Must be able to work as part of a diverse team in a collaborative and multidisciplinary scientific environment and have excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
- Experience in one or more of the following areas: operational information operations, intrusion detection, cyber analysis, reverse engineering or instrumenting malware, security of cyber/physical systems such as SCADA networks, anomaly detection or machine learning in a cyber security context, collecting and analyzing cyber security data at scale.
- Must be able to provide leadership in identifying, promoting, and developing appropriate new Laboratory-wide technical capabilities, including influencing and establishing Lab strategies to ensure alignment of new program to priorities and mission.
- Ability to serve on national advisory and/or policy boards. And chair peer review committees at a Laboratory level.
- Applicants will be expected to obtain a DOE security clearance, which usually requires U.S. Citizenship.
Desired Skills: - Extensive work experience including successfully proposing and managing research projects, publication experience, current or reinstatable Q or SCI clearance.
